Let Women Drive in Saudi Arabia





Responding to extreme pressure, Saudi Arabia has finally agreed to send women athletes to compete in the Olympics. That means the 2012 Olympic Games in London marks the first time that every country will be sending at least one female athlete to compete. However, Saudi women continue their struggle for basic rights, including the 'right to drive'. Amnesty International members stand in solidarity with their campaign to end discrimination in law and practice and to give Saudi women their full rights.Permitting two women to aim for their Olympic dreams is a start.
